I started an online journal for you, Sydney, and Jordyn. I thought I would write down everything about you that comes up day to day. In 6 days you will be 10 months old. It's crazy how fast time goes. In just 10 months you have learned who your parents and sisters are, learned to suck, eat a variety of food, sit, stand, roll over, sleep, crawl up and downstairs, and just the 2 days ago you took your first step. You've been a busy boy learning everything that is around you. Sunday night, just after bath time, you were in my room standing up. Sydney and I were watching. You took a step toward Sydney and stopped. Then you took another step with the same foot (the right one) and a quick step with your left foot when you fell down. Speaking of falling down, when you do fall or run into something, we cheer for you. I know it sounds a little cruel, but we don't want you growing up crying about every single thing.
Your first word was "mama." I've been trying to teach you signs, but you haven't caught on yet. You're a fun little boy to have in our home. You're curious about how things work and love to explore the house. I know this is only the beginning of many more explorations you will have in our house. You love playing in the bath tub and love playing with dad. Dad throws you up in the air, tickles you, and feeds you in the night. You've been sleeping down stairs so you don't wake up your sisters at night and so they don't wake you up in the morning.
Your kisses are open mouth and very slobbery. Currently you have your two bottom teeth in. You've been blessed and haven't been sick. Your disposition is happy and active, very similar to your sisters. All of us love watching you learn new things and love loving on you.
